Entry points Bhutan are road through
Phuentsoling in the south.

Phuentsoling can be reached by flying to Bagdogra, by train to New

Jalpaiguri or through various interstate bus services to the town of Siliguri.

You can also enter Bhutan by flying Druk Air,
the national carrier, which is linked to five
cities in four countries. There are three
flights a week from Bangkok and Calcutta, two flights a week from New Delhi and Kathmandu, and one flight a week from Dhaka.

Mode of transport within Bhutan is by motor vehicles only. There are no domestic airlines and trains. However, motor roads are well maintained and smooth and connect to all major sightseeing places. The mountainous terrain and winding road restrict the average speed of vehicles to less than about 40 km/hour.
